Initial Oral Examination

Your initial appointment with us will consist of:
•  Medical history review
•  Comprehensive clinical examination
•  Periodontal health evaluation
•  TMJ and oral cancer screening
•  Diagnosis and treatment plan recommendations

Along with the clinical exam we will take digital radiographs (x-rays). This comprehensive visit will last approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. You will then be scheduled on another date for an appropriate appointment with one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, as well as any necessary restorative appointments.

Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this website. If you have extreme anxiety or fear of visiting the dentist, we offer several types of sedation that can help relax you during your appointment.
