Dr. Heys is originally from the Seattle area. She moved to Ann Arbor in 2003 to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Heys has been in private practice since 2007. She has practiced 4 years in Saline, MI and 4 years in Jackson, MI.

Dr. Heys resides in Ann Arbor with her husband, who is also a dentist, and their three children. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Heys enjoys running, skiing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
